you blocking cop would've read as 'no result' as opposed to 'town', which could throw up a red flag regardless

That would just let the cop know that the action got role blocked. It says nothing about the player they investigated. When you know mafia has a role blocker, that is expected. Not sure what the red flags are, but a lucky pick for the mafia and an unfortunate result for the cop.

But the thing is that there would be no more future nightkills. It was my last night action before my certain death.

I was spitballing about running a noob-friendly game once my schooling ends (which happened yesterday). tried and tested setup with open roles, brand new and totally different flavour texts put together by the idiot brand new GM, very slightly shortened days to make the day/night cycle a little more intuitive and less sleepy. back when I first brought it up, a few people already showed interest, but I'm happy to have anyone as long as they follow the rules and don't act like an ass.

Yes. I dont claim there was actual cheating... just... playing jester needs you to play smart af because you cant just make a target of yourself like that usually (ppls will think you know better and be suspicious) but Boat always acts like Boat so if he does stupid plays and draws agression onto himself thats just... par the course.

also inactive players are hell and if/when I ever host I don't want to see this bullshit
