This match was vs xlaylay (1666). It was random civ arabia and I lucked out by getting Mongols vs Italians. Not only that, I managed to find 8 sheep straight away, which I promptly used to get some good scouting info, both my boars were close to my TC and 5 deer were right near my TC. Since the Mongol get a 50% faster hunting bonus that it a massive advantage. Predictably I decided to go for a 22 pop scout rush, which I managed to pull of quite nicely, and I started pumping scouts from 2 stables and got some good harass on his eco. Though my micro is pretty shitty and I lost more scouts that I should from his spear and TC fire. Since he was on the backfoot, I didn't upgrade my scouts and I sent 3 forward vills to build 3 ranges and transition into archers. Once I got some archers out it wasn't long before he gg'd.
So, the result was probably more luck than skill and not particularly challenging. Still, I don't think I made any big mistakes, besides perhaps having too many vills on wood in Feudal age.

Result: Win 1676 -> 1692 (+16)
