Why are you so needlessy rude? For the record: Im surprised i actually got a proper gift this time.
And im not surprised about canned food considering i got a whole lot of other kitchen stuff (Cooking knives etc and even a oven!), too.But just saying canned food is obviously funnier for the self deprecation humor, right? I'm dating someone with moderately more conservative views than I have (our opinions kind of align in the worldwide scale but we vote polar opposites in local elections) and I must confess I considered hitting them when I found out who they voted for in the most recent elections, but it really isn't a huge deal for us
I wouldn't date an outright nazi or someone staunchly homophobic though, seeing as wanting to fuck girls is a significant part of my sexuality

I don't really mind the middle eastern muslims that much, no. I don't know that much about their culture, so I can't say that I have immense respect for it, as that'd be a blatant lie, but no, I really have nothing against them as long as they don't make trouble, same as any other peoples.

Interesting question, but no, I would not. "Opposites attract" rarely works, in the long term you want someone that you can sync with and get things done with.

As I said, I know my ancestors from the Greek side all the way to about 4 and a half centuries ago, and I know my ancestors from the German side all the way up to the early 1700s (and there are earlier records in Alsace, but I need to actually go there and inquire about it - something I plan on doing in the future), and absolutely no ancestor of mine in that time span was of Islamic background.
As for kebab, it's a meme and when I told the local muslims here about that, they all started laughing, so it seems like a nice enough thing to call them.
