@tupsu I think a small post like that is fine to make. In case you're going in-depth with your game, then sure, an own topic would be better. But I was mostly pointing out my nostalgia there. Who knows, maybe somebody else has the same love for Fable I do. Except for Fable 3. Fuck Fable 3.
@Aurani I don't know how this name-swappery came to life or who stole whose name, and at this point I'm too afraid to ask. I just know you as Aurani tbh. Sorry other Aurani, but you are an imposter in my eyes.
To go back to the wine, I'm going to look in on those Italian ones. Probably starting with the white wine, as I am not the biggest fan of red.

Tupsu, there's a good reason we flee from the abhorent site known as osu! OT. I do not wish for you to go there. Though, it is more light-hearted I suppose. Stuff gets more personal here, which can get heated at times, but that's also because it isn't as active, making everyones posts feel more direct. Problem I mostly have with current osu! OT though is that it's filled with absolute garbage threads 99% of the time. I'd rather quickly shift through some crappy posts here than having to shift through countless threads that are all unfunny one-liners which are mostly inside jokes as well.
To stay a bit on topic though, I myself bought Fable Anniversary on steam sale. 85% off, so why not. Hoping to relive some nostalgic moments. I also bought an xbox controller + receiver for the PC. Mouse & keyboard feel clunky at times with certain games, so hopefully a more casual approach will make it all more fun.

Yeah I know fairly little about this situation, let me say that first. I don't really follow the news for it just shows people being pro or anti the brexit while knowing fairly little about it themselves. Next to that, it isn't my vote to make. I just saw the academic/scientific funds thingy pop up somewhere and thought it was worth mentioning. If scientists and other high-learned professionals have to move to a different nation, that might affect the UK (and its schools).

EU REFERENDUM SOCIAL EXPERIMENT (GONE WRONG)
In all seriousness, I quite fear for the universities in the UK now. A majority of the research funds from the EU are given to the UK, allowing scientists from all over the world to work there and it allows universities to perform and study various research programs. If that's going to drop, those funds will most likely go to France (and maybe Swiss and/or NL) and that will significantly hinder the top schools in the UK. I always saw Oxford, Cambridge and London as the top schools, this will most likely shift towards the schools in Zürich and Paris now.

yeah this brexit shit will fly over to NL as well, considering we've gotta vote again in early 2017 and the party on top (by quite a margin) in the polls atm is run by a person who's vehemently against the EU.

I mostly read at night, as both the silence and darkness create the perfect atmosphere for it. I always go to bed around 1~2 so it's nothing new, but I want to give a normal routine a try. Going to pull an all-nighter now, even though I'm horrible at those.
Starting tomorrow I'll try out your advice Brian. I think my main problem at the moment is my not-so-active lifestyle. I guess I'll make the strolls I take every so often daily now, so I get at least some form of exercise.

Fired up a game of hearthstone today because I was bored. My goodness, should not have done that. Pretty sure hearthstone is objectively the worst competitive game imaginable. I understand card games being about luck of the draw. Hell, I like that appeal. Being able to topdeck 'just the right card' yu-gi-oh style is amazing. But losing games due to coin flip effects. I truly don't understand it. It's not like hearthstone even needs those effects as they could easily rebalance it without.
I can't wait for gwent to come out. Finally something quick, light-hearted and without any capricious bullshit. A game where I'll be able to just play cards and have fun without getting the feeling lady Fortuna is trying to anally molest me.

That announcement took me on a trip to nostalgia lane at first. Me being a 9~10-year-old shrimp, playing instagib and excessiveplus on Quake 3... I was so hoping for something that would recreate the old competitive quake/UT, but I guess everything has to appeal to the ''broader audience'' nowadays, with unlockables, perks, and other nonsense.
