older websites feel nice and I don't know why.
Perhaps because they, across the board, tend to be functional and utilize screen space better.
Life is like a box of chocolates.

huh, I dont feel like that to be honest. Its too mechanical, if you know what I mean, it doesnt hide anything, its functional and functional only.
I think remi meant the comfort you feel when accessing old websites, maybe because of the memories of a more chill period of the internet?

I do certainly enjoy the mechanical look and feel, it's like I'm actually using a forum as opposed to some chat-app framed to look like a forum. Not sure if utilisation of screen space plays into it, but the websites functionality is definitely (slightly) more freeing than the modern osu! forums.

Whilst I did access websites when I was quite young, I never opened any forums; so opening Tuuba doesn't bring back any memories of a 'chill period' or anything.
