I'm not watching the anime, but people on the internet doesn't seem to like it as well. My twitter timeline was filled with that stuff for a day or so.

Pokemon GO is finally available in this country. It's not like people haven't been playing it before because APK, but I assume this would increase the number a lot more (will we finally get to see people getting hit by a car because of Pokemon GO?). How many of you are playing the game? This place seems to be unaffected by the Pokemon GO hype.

Miscalculated the conversion. He said it worth more than 1000 USD. He's also involved in the whole selling rare cards thing. Saw him checking prices and giving proofs to buyers several times. Once I tag along with him buying cards and he immediately opened it, look up prices, and in 20 minutes told me he was richer by 30 dollars.

My high school friend is a Yu-Gi-Oh player. I think he was top 5 nation wide or something like that. I used to collect bootlegged cards when I was a child because of the anime, but never really played it. Literally dropped my jaw when my friend told me his deck (original cards) worth more than 100 USD.

Also, I have a vague memory of someone here living in Indonesia, if so: Is there anything worth seeing in Jakarta? Will be there for a couple of days and will most likely have time to spare. Any tips are welcome <3

I have only spent less than 12 hours in Jakarta, but I heard there are not many places for tourist to see over there. Only two things come to mind, Monas (a monument), and Ancol (beach/theme park). A quick google search on "jakarta tourism" shows a bunch of museums, could be nice if you're interested in stuff like that.

Jakarta is more like a business city than a tourist city. If someone said he/she spent the holiday there, it's probably visiting a family member or shopping. The city is basically the shopping haven of Indonesia. The national consensus is you don't go to Jakarta to look at places, you go to Jakarta to buy stuff. There are many department stores, and one of them is so huge I literally got lost while trying to find a parking spot where my friend was waiting.

Depends on where you're going to stay and how long you're staying, you might not be able to visit some places because Jakarta is huge and the traffic is terrible.

Edit: Obligatory reminder of scamming, thieves, and inflated prices for foreigners. As metropolitan as it looks (compared to other cities in Indonesia), it's still a part of a third world country.

Aurani the amount of effort you put into this makes it seem like you care about B1rd so much.

I always do the rubbing thing to dry my hair. I don't think I've ever had problems because of it though.

As for the product thing, I'm not too fond of trying every single one until I find one that works. I did use a hair styling cream years ago, and I don't think it did any damage, but it did make my hair feels a bit oily (is that what it's supposed to do?). I never had any idea when to use products like these. Once a day? Before going out? I almost always wash my hair with water when I take a shower (which is twice a day) and I'm pretty sure it washes away the gel/cream whatever product I'm using.

Also, no. My hair doesn't get oily quickly.

Just to clarify, how long is long and i assume your barber meant styling, not taking care of it, yes? Else im not really sure what he meant with gel.

Doesn't styling include taking care of the hair as well? I'm always under the impression hair that is not well taken care of is really hard to style. My hair was long for Indonesian male standard. Enough to cover the collar if I were wearing a clothing with one.

For someone whose method of "hair treatment" is shampoo every two days this thing is hard.

Today I got a haircut and the barber said I should be grateful because my hair is long, straight, thick, and black (basically just like an ideal cock for a black male pornstar). He said that it's really easy to make it look good and just a tiny bit of care is needed.

The problem is I know nothing about hair treatment. He said just a bit of gel should be enough, but I don't know what kind of gel to get. Any tips to help me get started?

P.S. I know asking about things like this in a forum full of nerds is pointless, but I'm pretty sure there are one or two people who understand this sort of thing in here.
