August, you have no idea how I envy the German education system. Chinese education system is all just test-oriented. In literature, we are forced to understand unknown concepts that we usually would not experience in our age, such as how hypocritical some people in society can be, and how we only cherish things when we lost them. And your universities are awesome, I actually once considered to apply to your university were it not that I can't speak German.

Death Note is actually quite decent. My complaints are that it got worse after L's death, and some of the characters are one-sided with no depth, or they aren't fully fleshed out. Misa is a stupid bitch, and I wanted more of L or Light's backstories. 8/10

I don't know what you might think, but so far, I think the only episode in  Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu worth spending 20 minutes to watch was episode 7.

Jack Gleeson and David Bradley's acting is also pretty terrific as antagonists Joffrey and Walder Frey

Season 6 was hit and miss. I don't like the idea of resurrecting people because it eliminates the suspense of death. The antagonists are also weakened to laughable levels to make way for the main protagonists(Best example: khals fought countless wars and acted like children in elementary school when they confronted Daenerys).  But we got a tear-jerking sequence of "the door", one hell of an awesome battle in the penultimate episode, and great closure in the last episode.

I never got why Murakami was popular. I read some of his books and I think 1Q84 is his worst books because it could have been abridged to a single book and wouldn't lose too much of its power, and the last book was really disappointing. I never got what his books was actually about. He's experimental as fuck, but he isn't as half as entertaining.

If you want a good Asian book I suggest the sci-fi novel Dark Forest by Liu Cixin, although the English translation is really horrible. I suggest you skip the first book and read its plot summary, so you can dive head in into the awesomeness that is the Dark Forest:
