This reminded me of that one time when I left my soup warming up in the kitchen while I went back to my room to play some game. I've been doing this since I was like 12, but that time I'd forgotten about the soup and noticed something wrong when I started smelling something burning. I also had my door closed back then, so when I opened the door, the whole corridor that led to the kitchen was so smoked, that I could barely see anything and breathe. The soup, or rather vegetables and meat that were left of it, were burned to the point that I wouldn't even call them charred. There even wasn't any fire because there was nothing left to burn. And, yeah, it was quite tiresome to try to clean the thing I was warming the soup in, I though I'd basically ruined it, but I still use it from time to time.

eh well its super simple, basically:
1. Pour liquid butter into the pan.
2. heat it (at 3) and spread it so it covers the entire pan.
3. wait for it to simmer then put the heat to 1.
4. put bacon stripe in, wait a bit, flip it, wait a bit, take out.
5. repeat 4. until you have enough bacon stripes. (usually 4 for me)
6. pat off excess fat from the stripes then serve.

Maybe i should've put more of the butter after the first but i already felt like i put too much.

Well, trying cooking it without any oil is still my best guess because, seriously, I think it's an overkill unless the bacon itself has almost no fat at all.

Also,

Have you got a small pan or do you cut some monstrously big stripes? I usually put 3-4 stripes at the same time.

Yeah but like... the right moment was earlier and earlier until i couldnt catch it anymore fuu. Its almost like the pan kept getting hotter and hotter despite me turning the cookingtop to the lowest setting after the oil started simmering.

That's kinda weird but it might be because of the oil since it doesn't cool that quickly, try frying without it. If that doesn't fix the pan problem than I can't even imagine what it is without you giving me every single step and detail about how you cook it, but that'd be an overkill I guess.

Someone explain me why my baconstripes progressively cooked faster and faster until they pretty much got burnt instantly despite me turning off the heat after the first. aaaaaa.

It's 'cause of fat. You gotta catch the right moment and remove the bacon from the pan before the fat fries it to an inedible state or even sets it on fire.

Yeah, guess I should've taken the amount of food eaten while drinking into consideration too, my bad. Now that you mentioned it, I remembered the day when I hit 7 shots of some liquor, which taste I just can't stand now, while also playing that boring game "Republique" and I lost my shit everytime I heard French/English with heavy French accent for some reason.

How much alcohol does it usually take you, guys, to become drunk to the point when you can start giggling at practically anything?

I remember it happened only twice to me and both times I had to drink around 500 ml (12-13 shots) of hrenovuha (basically, horseraddish vodka).

Discover and try as many things as you can.

And then, probably, die of overdose\poisoning\other unpredicted consequences.
