The only thing that stops me from getting proper equipment is my horrendously low apprenticeship salary, it's fairly enough to satisfy all my needs but somehow, another thing on the way is I am sparing some of the money for a new PC because the current AMD rig I own is gradually going down the shitter. Imagine working on a PC with a USB 3.0 controller so fucked that it resets ALL connections on ALL USB 3.0 ports every 5 minutes.

If I'll treat my future new drawing tablet exactly like my PC then it's gonna last centuries, too bad the AMD CPU overheats itself to shit on decent cooling which is regularly cleaned with reapplied thermal paste.

Refraining from going off-topic any further I gotta say I think of tablets, mice, pencil/paper/scanner combo as tools of expression, what's better is determined by one's point of view and attitude. There's so much I can achieve with a tablet in much less time and really I'd love to own one and learn using one to its full potential. I had a blast with the Wacom Cintiq displayed at the shopping centre but fancy features come along with a crazy price tag. Nonetheless I think that even if I owned a tablet I'd still draw stuff with my mouse for fun and/or improvement.

I feel like you don't really need a cintiq unless your job is art related. I might be wrong because I never tried it but the price tag is just...big big no. just a normal one would do the (almost) exact same job imo
