This thread is for talking about this forum and stuff like that.

So currently I've just been sniping people with PMs to get them to come here, here is the list of people I've currently invited. If you can think of anyone else tell me and I'll send an invite

And I know some people probably want this place to be just a private forum for some of the people from OT, but I was thinking more of it as a refuge for people to boycott the main forum, in a vain attempt perhaps to get peppu to change some stuff. So is my question is: do any of you mind if I post in the 'new design discussion forum' alerting peppu and whoever else about this one, and if so what would the conditions be for us to come back to the old forum?

As someone who was in the staff, peppu won't give a damn what you say to him in that thread. It's a wasted effort. I think it might be better to build this one instead.

I wish I remember any of the people from my old friend list, I could name a few rad people but fuck.

And yeah, I don't expect peppu to actually listen but I feel like it's something that should be done. And it also serves the purpose of alerting people of this forum.

The thing is about peppu, he simply doesn't give a fuck about few resisting players. In fact, he might even silence you in the worst case if you manage to piss him off.

I'd say you could start doing heavy "marketing" once the actual new forum layout gets forced. People will lose their shit and you can go like "take this ebola cure, quick!!".

I was just joking anyways, since it's not my personal little forum, I don't have the right to tell other people to fuck off, but I had some issues with what you had written there.

Why do we suddenly want to treat this Forum as a bargain chip against peppu? Didn't we come to this Forum to continue with our tradition, and not to just boycott peppu and negotiate with him? It's obvious he isn't going to change his mind, so saying "Hey look, I made this Forum to boycott you, so unless you suck my dick we won't return to Osu!" is kind of going to make us look like cunts. Instead, we can say goodbye to that hellhole and enjoy our stay here, no?

Well, sort of. Being truthful, we (or me, at least) left because we didn't like the state of the forums, and we may be willing to come back if things are changed. That's basically what I'm planning to say. so, it's not really that we made this to be our private little hidyhole or as a 'boycott' site; something in between. Anyone who doesn't like the main forum can come too, I think.
