Mercury is a pretty nice style imho. Doesn't make my eyes bleed by having bright coloured/white backgrounds, and shows a different-coloured marker for stickied threads with new posts in them. No idea why the DarkGrey style doesn't do this.

Well, then I guess mercury does it in a way that's suitable for blind people.
It also takes less screen space with overly large elements.
