You really have to pay even more for the skins? What the hell.
But I guess Blizzard knows people are going to buy them anyways just because they're Blizzard. Even people who don't normally play fps games are buying it, just because it's Blizzard.

no the only thing you can buy with real money are boxes, but you get a box every level, each box contain 4 items
im not playing that much and can get 3 boxes a day
you can also buy item individually but you need coins, to get coins you have to get them in the boxes but they are rare or get an item that you already have, it will be converted in coins
buying boxes with real money is stupid because they're easy to get

On a sidenote, I also hate Overwatch, for a different reason. Even after I paid 60 fucking bucks for the game, the game still asks me to pay for new skins in micro-transactions. Just make it a "freemium" game like TF2, or pay-once, play-forever game like what Payday 2 used to be.
are you an actual retard
it's the exact same fucking model as TF2, except in TF you basically HAVE to pay for hats if you want a specific nice one, and you have to pay to unlock boxes
moreover nobody forced you to pay 60 you dumb fuck, it's 40 for the basic game and another 20 for hats in other games

that person is a retard, you get skins drop every time you score a level and occasionally you get in game money in said drops which lets you buy the exact hat you want

Skyrim is okay at best while Fallout 4 is probably the worst game I've ever played in its entirety.
u wot
I have the exact opposite opinion lmao
But that's probably because I like guns and think FO4 has very satisfying combat compared to Skyrim
Also overwatch would be much more appealing with a less retarded tickrate and actual servers
With it's current shit I can't believe they're charging €40 for it

Skyrim was so boring. Combat was shit; the world was bland; every single NPC had the same voice actors; every single area were the exact same. Even when I mod it like crazy, I can't play it for more than 30 mins without getting bored.
At least FO4 was colourful and the combat was actually good.

both are boring, especially the gameplay, the story is long etc ok it's cool but what about making your game actually fun to play so people keep playing until the end?
skyrim feels like your swinging your sword in fucking nothing when they could have made it like dark messiah or chivalry

In general, I don't really like Bethesda games anymore; every single one feels like a half finished piece of shit the developers put little effort in.

Im not sure why blizzard is doing this (probably because they're cheapskates), but ranked matches appartently dont have this issue having a higher tickrate and lower latency.
Life is like a box of chocolates.

I mean pick one fucking thing - either free to play with microtrans or high cost with no microtrans at all, you can't do both.
I honestly don't get why people get all pissy about you being able to buy the loot crates or whatever they are in overwatch. They don't gate anything that affects gameplay behind the microtransactions, they're all purely cosmetic and you are able to get them without paying if you're patient enough.
CS:GO has pretty much the same system yet people don't bitch and whine about that. Why? Because the skins are purely cosmetic and don't affect gameplay in any meaningful way.
I'd get the hate if they gated actual tangible game content behind a paywall in a pay 2 play game, but that isn't the case. None of the actual game content, that is to say heroes, weapons, skills, maps etc. are behind a paywall.

Why would you even mention me? I didn't write ANYTHING that wasn't true. The game still costs 60 Euro which is an outrageously high price for such a low-quality game by Blizzard's standards (heck, even 40 is double the price of what any smaller company would charge for it) AND it still has microts.
The only people who defend that game as something revolutionary are either kids or seriously mentally challenged people.
I'm open for discussion if you believe I'm wrong. Tell me how the 60/40 Euro price tags are justifiable compared to other games that actually bring something new to the table and then I may take these shitposts seriously.
As it stands, my argument that it's a TF2 with bland as fuck characters whose worth goes only up to dank memes is valid. I would have no problem with the game what-so-ever (okay, that's a lie, 40 bucks is far too much for a clone) if all the kiddie fans would just admit that it's nothing more or less than a Blizzard TF2 edition, but apparently they're butthurt by the mere use of the word "copy" or "look-alike".
IppE:
The reason I dislike games that do both the microtransactions AND have a price tag is not because I have a problem with it - if I love the game I'm ready to pay some serious money for it, but with the feeling that I get that the company is fucking farming the living shit out of me. It's not directly blocking me from getting anything, but it's encouraging me to spend more money than I'd need to just because of my love for it. The company is essentially using me because I love it.

the reason overwatch is a forty dollar game is that it is meant to be a full, "jump in and enjoy playing" experience. It is watered down for the folks that can't spend a hundred hours obtaining currency and buying characters to play
stop being so pissy over skins, anus. they just make you feel good inside

How the fuck is that an argument? "We deliver you a full game instead of half of it, so you have to pay more for it now".
No, that's not how it works.

When was it decided that a full priced game isn't allowed to have microtransactions in them? Especially if they don't even affect the gameplay in any way? There are numerous examples of full priced games having microtransactions in the past, and while they're generally frowned upon, at least in overwatch it is impossible for them to become a "pay 2 win" situation, which is generally the only negative thing resulting from someone else in the game buying them.
Can you explain why the microtransactions in overwatch are bad or are you just going to say they're bad because you don't like them?

But that's the point of Pay to Play video games, you silly!
Blizzard is quite the generous chap giving the full game, without ANY restrictions, and even a FREE competitive for everyone who paid for 40 dollars. And that is saying a lot because most modern title releases either make you pay sixty dollars for a 3-4 hours worth of dlc and call it a game
