As I never heard of a multiplayer feature on the game, I can only talk about single player and yes, you start with absolutely no cards. You get some shitty basic deck and you have to beat Joey to a pulp about 320 times to get the full list of cards. :p

Should be more balanced in multiplayer then because singleplayer yugioh is always unbalanced towards the player.

Actually if you play the Kaiba or Yugi expansion you're going to get your arse kicked SO many times because you start out with practically no usable cards while they already have full decks. It's only when you get your preferred deck that you start ripping them a new asshole.

Tbh I played it again a month ago (funny how this topic has been brought up the same year I decide to pick up on it) and it all depends on what cards the AI gets. I've sometimes gotten buried without doing a single point of damage to him.
Places a terrain card, summons a guy who already has well over 2k attack that gets boosted even more, and you're stuck with your shitty 1200/1100 cards and HOPE that you can get that one spell card in time before he pushes his cock so far up your anus your organs will be destroyed and all will be lost.

Just follow the instructions on this video. He has a sick accent and is slow as fuck. But it works. When he starts saying ''click next, next, next'' Don't do it. You'll get some ''yugi 4 arab'' as your homepage. Not even joking. Click that off for your own sake.

But yeah, download game. Download all card unlocker. Run card unlocker. Right click joey the passion exe thingy. Run as admin AND and in 256 colors. Otherwise it won't start. Screen will look like a dick for a while, but just go to the options in the game and click 32 bit. You should have all cards and you can play yugioh.

If you want to play online, get Hamachi https://www.vpn.net/
Once installed, click the power button. Create account. Join exiting network.
Name of the server to join is tuuba.moe --- pass = tuuba
