PNG takes longer to load right? Should just use jpg because otherwise people with slow net have to wait for the banners to load.

I have my VPN on and plenty of banners take a while to load every time I click a new page, and I know plenty of people have shitty net. I don't see the problem with having a jpg, isn't there only an issue if it's saved multiple times?

Assuming it's not one of the situations where PNG offers comparable/better compression, and assuming the JPG isn't encoded with crappy quality settings, then JPG is fine.
I don't think the difference is gonna be that big, but I don't know your situation, and it wouldn't effect me at all. So whatever.

contrabanner.png 169KB, jpeg 157KB = jpeg is 12KB smaller
dsbanner.png 32KB, jpeg 69KB = jpeg is 37KB bigger
neverasked.png 244KB, jpeg 144KB = jpeg is 100KB smaller
ninjagaidenbanner.png 234KB, jpeg 278KB = jpeg is 44KB bigger
olutbanner.png 822KB, jpeg 161KB = jpeg is 661KB smaller
sauce.png 165KB, jpeg 85KB = jpeg is 80KB smaller
shit.png 361KB, jpeg 255KB = jpeg is 136KB smaller
silence.png 0.2KB, jpeg 44KB = jpeg is 43.8KB bigger
tuubabanner.png is not applicable as it's APNG.
Grand total bandwidth savings of 1175KB when using jpeg of similar percieved quality.
And this is before optimizing the png files (zertap get on it)
Oh and you only download the images once anyway, since they're saved in browser cache.
