Even trough he holds some views i just cant agree with, he is a really respectable and cool person. Maybe a bit too much of an edge at times but he really knows how to discuss and is knowledgeable about things, something i put great value in.

I abandoned all of my backlog on anime when I stopped watching new releases back in 2012 and I've never held a gaming backlog that much. Keeping track on media I "should" consume just makes me not ever touch them again

I guess it depends; I spend most of my waking moments alone, so naturally my thoughts are mostly directed towards myself. I'm pretty attentive to other people when I talk/do stuff with them, however.
