I study orchestral tuba (as well as operatic baritone) at school right now for my music degree
I don't plan on playing professionally, since I really don't feel like practicing 7 hours a day to try to land an orchestral job or anything lmao

Mmh, well you could play with a marching group like some of my friends (Flute) an my sister (drum). They do it once a year for carnival. Not professional but as hobby.
I dont really know anything about brass instruments, how is it like to play one?

fuck partials that the biggest thing lmfao
like it's less buttons but the amount of time and effort you need to put in to have clean partials and not have bumps when changing between them is literal hell.
