Been sitting in the editor since last sunday trying to improve the map I linked in my previous post, pretty desperate for feedback as I'm out of ideas for improving it although I know it's really far from perfect.

Would ask around for mods but nobody wants to mod a map by a nobody that doesn't even have a full difficulty spread.

My feedback:

-has horrible 1/8 slider streams
-has deathstreams when it doesn't really fit the music and should have jumps
-has weird kiai section

The music does 1/8s at those bits but I guess some people don't like seeing that kind of things around.

Where? I just went through the map and couldn't find a single stream that didn't have backing from the music.

I honestly have no clue where the fuck I should put kiaitimes in this. Point out better times for them if you can.

Ok so I looked at that Akasha map

-Sometimes there's nothing where there feels like there should be something like at 01:10:652 (3,1) -

Try adding another singletap between the 3 and the 1 there, because I think it makes it sound and look a lot better. I know you're trying to be faithful to the music, but sometimes taking little liberties can make it sound better in the end.

Tried to fill those spots with sliderends more than singletap circles, since as you said there's not much backing from the music for the notes but they're still feeling a bit empty. Still got some of those spots left but I updated to fix most of these.
Cheers, I'll try to get around to checking your map as well at some point.

I've probably made half a dozen new maps. I've just made this however and it's my favourite from the lot. I don't really need a mod but feedback/replays would be cool. If you can pass [ar8 CHALLENGE] you can officially read AR8.

Oh and with your map ksg;

Even if the 1/8 go with the music it's still horrible to play, they're really spaced and if you hold your finger down for a fraction of a second too short you will break combo which is really annoying. It's just that they're really spaced and without any spike in the song so it doesn't really fit. It works better if they're less spaced, for example in Jemmmmy's heaven diff.

And about the stream/jump thing, yeah you could probably map 1/4 to the whole map, what I meant was that in some spaces the 1/2 are more prominent than the 1/4 beats. But I looked at the map again and I think you've already changed it. But yeah it's a really solid map.

How about 2:30:598 to 2:51:354 for the kiai? I think that's where the emphasis is.

B1rd I looked at your map and a few things

00:18:346 (6) - I really don't like this because of how it ends away from the next triple instead of towards it, and the fact that it repeats twice might be off-putting when most might expect it to only repeat once

01:03:433 (6) - I think this sounds better if you end it on the white tick

01:17:421 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11) - This 1/3 stream is spaced the same as some of your 1/4ths which might be confusing to some people idk

Aside from that, it's like...way too different for me to even judge.
