Makes sense then.

Wait, are laws in Finland different than in Sweden? I know that in Sweden you can get some serious jail time for even carrying a knife, because Swedefags. lol

Oh I'm knowingly breaking the law just to be safe.

Carrying a knife is also useful since you never know when you'll have to open a very sealed tight box or have to cut up a delicious gourmet meal on the street.

Why not carry a gun, then? Easy enough just shooting the bugger, since just touching kebabs is more than I'd want to go for.

You can also have your wrenches etc. tools confiscated if you're just carrying them around without their proper container. Not sure how punishable it is though, haven't checked the lawbooks for the exact statement

Anyone can get a knife or something similar, getting a gun is way more of a hassle compared to that (and expensive)

Pretty much the whole point of these laws in the nordic countries, has been the starting point that no one would need to ever feel afraid going around. Hence it's only reasonable to ban them to create an environment where violence and other such activities are shunned upon.

They worked just fine before the whole mudslime invasion though, I've seen way more people carrying stuff to protect themselves. Even my mother considered some sort of weapon or self-defence class (she usually hates everything that has something to do with violence)

Well, that's true, yes, but whilst a knife is easy to obtain and requires no licence, it's also riskier to wield. Sure, that guy stabbed me between the ribs and in the arm, but I broke his jaw, and I barely ever got into a bloody fight. If he had a gun, you bet your sweet ass that I'd be rotting in a coffin now.

I'd trade expensiveness and rarity over less efficiency any day.

I'd choose a gun over a knife any day. But getting one legally is quite a hassle. You either need to be a hunter or a hobbyist to get a license for obtaining the gun. Then you also need a license to carry the said gun, which needs to be renewed at certain intervals.

Ofc you could just get the license, get a gun and carry it around w/o a license. But getting one from the black market is less hassle then

Luckily, Zastava, a Serbian weapons manufacturer is also corrupt as fuck, so you can obtain a pistol or even an automatic weapon for a reasonable price here. :D

Re: ITT: Pretend we are still writing in osu! OT

Here we just have a massive amount of bureaucracy in front of everything and the corruption mainly lies with gypsies, mudslimes and somewhere higher up
