Heyaaaa guys, I hope your Valentine's Day went well. If it didn't, feel free to bug me if you wanna vent about it o/

Venting time.
I really got caught up a little too much into moving and work that my love and I didn't have enough money to plan anything for Valentine's Day. I'm a little worried that they feel ashamed that they couldn't do anything for me today so they're acting a bit bummed out. Kinda sucks too because I did get really far ahead with my work this week just so we could have some extra time to spend together but it didn't go as planned. And then they keep apologizing like it's their fault for not being able to provide a great day for me without money. Like yeah, it's okay if you're broke, it can't be helped.
And then my ex boyfriend kinda came around and ruined my day too because yesterday was his birthday and he invited me out to dinner and said some really shitty stuff to me. Like, asking for me back and stuff.

tldr i didn't do anything and I ended up doing floor plans all day gg

I gather both of you can come together on that, though. Both of you feel somewhat responsible yet had the best intentions for each other, so I find it best to make it clear that the score, if any, doesn't matter as you can always have your little tender moment any time. St. Valentine's is just a day, but what we celebrate and take from it only keeps going.
