A guy I know in elementary and high school was reported as missing to the police yesterday. I'm not particularly close to him, but we do know each other. It feels a bit weird when things like this happen to someone you know and have talked to.

It's particularly odd when it's someone you've practically grown up with since you figure this is the sort of thing you wouldn't expect to happen around or at least not in this stage of your life. Still, I'm starting to see people I knew from my school getting married, having children, and god knows what else.
