One day, when I was signing up for a game, I needed a name. Since I'm a rather shitty creative fag, I went on Google and started searching for names to pick. I found some mongrel playing Guild Wars or whatever, named Aurani. I took the name.
Some time after that (more than a year for sure), while I was playing LoL with an acquaintance, he said he wanted to invite a friend of his to play with us. Turns out that friend of his was Aurani....... the guy whose name I took more than a year ago for a completely random game. I legit met the guy whose name I took, but here comes the fun part - I completely forgot about taking his name on another game, so after a year or so of our friendship, he finds out I took his name, and there begins everything.
Coincidences can be quite scary.
