Ah, there's your problem. Everfall would be the perfect place to bridge the gap. I did Bitterblack Isle immediately after starting NG+, not upon entering postgame.

whats so hard with dodging 200 lightning bolts in FFX? did it 1st try (albeit using the crater exploit) for a friend who couldn't pull it off. the timing window you have is pretty forgiving, even legit all you have to do is focus on them having random intervals
