Yeah it states that he devours Gwendolin on his weapon descriptions but he devoured many Gods, hence his nickname.
Also it's kinda crazy, earlier I was just Lv 40, farming the stuff for the wolf covenant and it takes like a second for me to find a world to invade; I level up to 43 and now it's taking 5-10 mins to find a world. I shouldn't have leveled up. :/
Currently I've been trying to experiment by collecting every armor piece in the game and with the use of the Untrue Dark Ring, I've been invading and attempting to blend in with the environment and make it appear as if I was just a normal enemy. I've had a few successes so far; the firekeeper set coupled with either a good hood or Big Hat Logan's hat makes a good disguise for the ruin area just before the Crystal Sage boss, especially the first room with plenty of hollows.
Also there are some places where you can make yourself nearly invisible by clipping yourself into the floor using the stretch out gesture. If you use the Carthus Milkring and a massive heavy-hitting weapon like an ultra greatsword, you can just roll towards the guy when he runs past you and hit him. Majority of the time they don't even notice you lying down on the floor as long as you have the Untrue Dark Ring on since you're clipped into the floor and they can't see you roll towards them because of the Carthus Milkring.
The Untrue Dark Ring overall is so fun to use. It completely masks your phantom colour so you can use it in alot of inventive ways, like hiding in a really dark corner and using some gesture like curl up to make yourself harder to find.

Well Darkmoon Blade is kind of a dead covenant across all levels anyways. No one equips the Way of Blue covenant thing. It's okay though, we get less people using the Darkmoon Blade enchant in PvP.

Erghhh, the Parrying Dagger is so bad in this game. The fucking Caestus is like the best thing in the game to parry with; more parry frames than normal shields and faster start-up time than small shields making it easier to reaction parry.

The Farron Great sword is pretty shite tbh; I don't even try and I parry it's weapon art every single time I come across someone using it.

I'm slowly but surely on my way to getting that sweet and tasty Darkmoon Blade.

But it only costs 1 attunement slot, so you only need 10 points in attunement, and since the majority of people have been agreeing on the PvP soul level meta being 120, I think that's a shit ton of points enough to get your faith up to 30, unless you went for a quality build.
Like for me right now, I have so much extra points that I'm not entirely sure where I should put them; the Prisoner's chain ring gives you 15 free levels so it's pretty damn good since you won't need to max your endurance at 40 and just leave it at 35 instead.

Alright, the 30 points into faith definitely isn't worth it for Darkmoon Blade and Lightning Blade; they only become really strong if you cap faith at 60 due to reverse diminishing returns so resins are just better. 14 points into attunement and 15 points into faith just to to get the Tears of Denial miracle is worth though; fucking OP, it's Demon Souls all over again. I'm just gonna go for a quality build 27 str and 40 dex for now.

tfw you're having honourable duels down at Sulyvahn's backyard and that one guy takes a sip from the forbidden orange juice, kills you and proceeds to perform derogatory gestures like the clapping one as if they were good or something, because clearly I'm a scrub if I refuse to drink estus during an honourable duel right?
Also tfw you run into that one guy during an invasion or duel that rolls and sprints 24/7 as if he was Sonic the Hedgehog with infinite stamina.
I came across one guy at Pontiff Sulyvahn's who literally used every buff known to mankind before starting the duel. I literally sat there for like nearly a minute while this guy was munching on every single weed available in the game; buffing his weapon; buffing his shield; buffing himself; deep protection, power within, you name it, until eventually ending with a green blossom because he took so long buffing that the green blossom he took before had already ran out. Then there's me just sitting there with Tears of Denial and a green blossom in hand that I decide to not use and the fight itself ends under 10 seconds of me getting him into a Black Knight Halberd combo.
Speaking of Black knight Halberd, this shit is so fucking good, and fun. My most favourite weapon now, it has such a massive moveset. I'm really liking halberds now since they're not gimp like they used to be in DS1 and more similar to how they were in Demon Souls. BKH and Dragonslayer Swordspear are my favourites even though the latter is classed as a spear, two handing gives it the moveset of a halberd.
