I tried this with mania and it worked for a while but now I've gotten to a point where I'm incapable of properly reading what's going on and it frustrates me and makes me ragequit immediately and I don't enjoy it so I can't play long enough to see any visible improvement.

I don't find any enjoyment in CTB or Taiko at all tbh.
