well theres this saying that chess isn't a game, its WAR.

I suppose the same applies to GO. You go in with good intentions and leave with PTSD.

Chess is a small battle; go is many battles that affect each other from large distances that constitue a war. i once thought I would win no matter what after winning a fight that spread half the board and capturing 20 stones; I became retarded and lost by 0.5

Oh my god I'm so lazy with tsumego now it hurts. Will I ever be 1d? If True wasn't lying then I do already have 1-2d level fuseki. But fuseki is the easiest shit in the world, yet people still fuck it up at the 4k and weaker level. Like, how?

I just won my first real game against a 3k. It was too fighty for me, but I lost 37 stones in a ko that happened because I messed up my life and death in 20 second byo yomi. I was still wining by like 40 pts because I captured 48 stones of his throughout the course of the game because we both had two weak groups each right next to each other in contact.

That was the most intense fucking game I have ever had.

Look at this ending screenshot: Just how many white stones are dead and how many captures does white have?

My heart just can't take this I'm freaking out aaaahhhh

I was doing well against prodigious for 38 moves. Good progress. my fuseki still needs work

I keep winning against 4 kyus; if all thiose games were ranked, kgs would put me at 3k by now.

I played 7 games last night on a different account and lost the first 5 with each one getting progressively worse. The last game I won as black against a 5k by 1.5 pts with no komi. Fuck this shittttt

I've been fucking up a lot lately in a slump. Since kgs is down I decided to play on igs. The first game I had a good attack going but I became stupid, didn't read, and died when I should not have. The second game was a passive territory grab and I won by 30 points - it's funny because just surrounding your opponent and making them live gives you so many free points.

The third game was more fighty; I wasn't counting points, but at the end I had the chance to kill white. He could have lived, I read it. But he tried to cut and kill me and I knew that if he did, I would be able to kill him and win the semeai, so I wasn't worried about his cut. He cut  me and then promptly died. And he was 5k+

I played out some basic endgame and I am losing by about 1.5 without komi, 7.5 with komi, and the game result would be a near 4.5 point win since 5k+ vs 5k is a 5.5 point reverse komi for black.

Literally not afraid of this cut.
