I don't know what you might think, but so far, I think the only episode in Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu worth spending 20 minutes to watch was episode 7.

It only starts getting good at arc 2 (so when Ram and Rem are introduced). I didn't really feel emotionally invested in it until then. But yeah, for some reason the anime sets up Subaru as even more annoying than the other material ever did. I suppose it's to draw a contrast to his development later on (and boy does he develop), but at this point I can't blame someone for dropping the show because of him.

No Game No Life was... i dont think i can actually describe it. The plot was dumb as hell if not fairly unique, the sister... offputting and unsettling as fuck. How old is she again, why is she acting like a slut that has helium for a brain? (while appartenly being a super genius? Cant take this seriously, might've been a OK character if you'd cut the fanservice bombarding.) And the protag just boring and dumb.

I wanted to drop it, but I kept telling myself that there's no way he's going to stay the same way. I hate how reckless and stupid his actions were so far. but well, I was sort of right, I mean... you can already see some development. I really liked the episode where they showed Ram and Rem's story, it was pretty touching. I hope they show Beatrice's story later on, if she has one ;_;
