Yeah no. Football has never been about luck - it was more about the skill and planning involved, else there wouldn't be ANY need to tactics. Fuck that, let's just cheese a goal instead. Go and take a look at his hitrate and tell me again he didn't cheese the shit out of that goal.

I'm not even mad that he did it, I'm mad that Portugal as a team is doing it constantly. I don't like France, but they sure as fuck deserved it more than Portugal.

That's like the most retarded argument I've ever heard when talking about football ever. Didn't deserve to win because they cheesed a goal? Then what the fuck was Umtiti and Koscielny doing to defend against the shot? They literally did nothing, just stood there. It was a brilliant shot btw, it went through Umtiti's legs.

Football isn't about the hit rate when it comes to shots. If you watch football regularly you'd know that the majority of them miss anyways; but one shot is enough to win the game, and France didn't get that shot. Doesn't matter how much you think they're the better team because this ain't a best-of-whatever like some other sports and in Football, the only thing that matters in the end of the match are goals, and France didn't make any. You got nothing but salt.

In hindsight, you should rather be questioning why the fuck France didn't win when Ronaldo was out of the game. France is a fucking joke in my book because of that.

the main reason why the most games appeared to be low-quality (i mean, they clearly were) was that there were 24 teams this year. (platini cared about them €$€$€$ how suprising)
so all in all there were teams in the tournament, that shouldn't even be there in the first place.

then the fucked up group-elimination progress. i mean, 3/4 teams can qualify in the group ?!?
you can't blame the teams for not playin attractive and offensive soccer then, because the teams know that they can qualify without even winning a game (i.e. portugal etc. (!) )
portugal shouldn't even made it out of the group stage imo.

and then suddenly the k.o. phase started, where you just had to have luck with your enemy. i mean, teams on the right side were obviously better than the ones on the left :

and then portugal is in the final with france (i still can't believe that france won against germany, that was some lucky shit right there)

well, that's how you win a title apparently. winning only one game in 7 games after 90 minutes.

teams that played the best soccer imo were germany and italy, kinda sad that none of them got the title. i cannot see portugal winning against them.

tldr; euros is a clusterfuck mainsteam-organisation with the main intention to make money as shown in the tournament structure

i cried a little when ronaldo let himself down and showed that the needed a sub while barely holdin his tears

and adding to that, i don't like the principle of a national games. i mean, randomized players from different clubs with different styles and tactics get selected to play a total different tactic with different players / coaches.
and all that in 2-3 months with some friendlies here and there.
obv you cannot expect high lvl tactical play then, and it leads to high skilled individual players to make the difference (wales - bale, portugal - ronaldo etc. )

thank god it's over now.

edit: to be clear, i am not mad that portugal has won. it is just that they didn't deserve it. personally i even preferred them over france since my elementary school crush is portuguese and she was really hyped and happy. so i am kinda feelin happy for her.

Soccer is boring because all the teams always seem to play only defensive, theres little to no action because this and anytime something actually happens someone fouls or fakes someone fouled, then people exaggeratedly faceplant on the grass to see if they can get a free elfmeter shot at the goal to make up for their zero offensive game.
