Don't use “thought” verbs too much: thinks, understands, loves, hates, and a hundred others. Instead of characters knowing, present the details that allow the reader to know them. Instead of a character wanting something, describe the thing so that the reader wants it. Only specific sensory detail: smell, taste, and sound.

It's okay I can't be offended, it's just i did get into an argument with one of my family members who thought I had terrible drinking habits until I had to remind her that I got through university further than her
I was triggered leave me alone ):
ugh, I always hate alcohol like the day after I drink. Liver being too slow to process for me.

Anything that isn't your cheapo locally produced market beer.
Specific brand recommendations really depend on what kind of beer you like.
