In terms of combat nah. The questing and story though I guess is better. They're both average-tier games tbh but if you felt like me in which dd's story was too short and the world felt too small and lacking of substance, I guess you'd like koa better. Playing it has the feeling of playing an mmo by yourself, kinda like WoW, without the friends ):

It's an okay game. Combat is cool because you can mix all your skill trees together, allowing some funky combos to come out. The entire narrative, however, is dogshit.

This game is in early alpha atm, still lots of fun. The devs are working on having a open persistent world, it's gonna be pretty epic. Hopefully.
