I like Macchiatos a lot, the rest not so much. Way too bitter for me.
But go and be a barista! I feel like if someone enjoys the smell of coffee (which I do), that'd be the best job to have. Like a bartender, but you actually serve stuff that you are allowed to drink at work.

Railey mate, that's exactly why I said "there are no Coca-Cola sized companies, but plenty of local ones". If Serbia, a country of 8 million has a company making those, I'm sure the UK has over half a dozen - not to even mention the US; it's just a case of them being local companies with no multinational media exposure.
The friends you asked that are clear examples of how they're just local companies, since none of them have heard of any, but I assure you they're there.

I had some locally made apple and pear cider at a local event, now that was delicious stuff. Expensive too. I also bought a $40 bottle of wine, even though I can't tell the difference between that and the 4L casks for $15 you get from the bottleshop. I used up all of my money for the fortnight by being pretentious.
