Go petition a dictionary or something, in the meantime I'll be speaking proper English.
"They" has been used as a gender neutral pronoun for centuries, authors ranging from Chaucer to Shakespeare have used it that way. It's proper English, even if it is used awkwardly at times.

For the last couple of days I've been learning why English is highly inconsistent with their spelling and pronunciation. The whole ghoti = fish thing, why spelling bee wouldn't work for some other languages, and this video

Game art and silly posts threads kind of make sense since they've had splits that apparently break a lot of things (though zertap fixed the silly posts thread and I've never experienced hiccups with the game art thread)
