It's a multiplayer game that only one person has to pay for, so it's not that surprising the pricing is wonky. But it's not a game with much longevity, so meh.

The only friend you'll ever need is your brain.

Other people can and eventually WILL take a dump on your face, so why not skip it altogether and have "friends" on the side whilst retaining the benefits they give. You basically abuse them, is what I'm trying to say.

Now if you know someone for a long, long time, then you can be sure that they won't so easily betray and backstab you, hence why I said "4+ years", since the longer you know someone the lower the chance of them putting a smelly turd in your heart's pocket; the chance is still there, but not AS big as when you barely know someone and trust them blindly.

All in all, screw social contact, books and knowledge is where the shit's at.
