I don't see much of a reason in doing it in the first place, but earlier down the road you don't even remember the experience. Do it later and it's so painful it's trauma-tier and just gives you a good reason not to do it ever.

It's an irreversible life decision either way.

To be fair, this was all related to me by word-of-mouth, so details are scarce. It happened to a Chinese friend of mine who went through the procedure at like, 18. In China.

And he was mostly complaining about being in China while having to sit down all day with a donut under his butt for a week or something. He sounded pretty miserable as his entire daily life was now altered to make sure his penis wasn't touching anything ever
