I really hope you're not serious with this one. Even though our corruption is not as slap in the face as in many places. Saying non-corrupt is a blatant lie
our politicians are the only corrupt ones, authorities in general are not at all.
I'd recommend you to look up how deep the corruption from our politicians actually reach.
You're welcome to enlighten me at the expense of both of our time, I'll listen.
People will get guns depending on how necessary they are, obviously. You're saying that people can have guns for hunting etc, but what about self-defence? Isn't defending yourself a valid reason for carrying around a gun? Not having gun control won't suddenly make everyone murderer, but it will give people the option of having a gun when they need one.
Until people are being murdered in the streets, (no, gangraped by niggers does not warrant this) there is no need for guns to be everywhere. Having a gun doesn't make everyone a murderer, but it makes people more likely to act out on instabilities in mental health (I'm talking suicide) or the will to be a murderer.
And btw, power corrupts.
Only bad people.
I'm no fan of Russia and their politics, but one thing they got straight is the tradition. They preserved it and there is a certain bond between people that goes above and beyond mere patriotism that simply stops them from looking at other people like animals.
Finland is very much like that too, and I'd argue we're more americanised than Germany, they've preserved their own culture quite well.
Call me a fag, but I'm a traditionalist at heart and I'd like to have certain restrictions when buying guns. I'd actually go a step further and make it so no ordinary guy can obtain one unless he/she is a member of a club that revolves around guns, but I'd unlock all the guns when it comes to obtaining one for club activities, such as sniper rifles and fully automatic guns (which are strictly prohibited here no matter what licence you own).
I can almost say I agree 100%, I wouldn't quite allow firearms to be purchased without restriction, but sniper rifles with calibers at 7.62mm or lower would be allowed as well as automatic rifles with the same caliber restriction requiring a special permit you may apply for after a certain amount of years of shooting club activity.
When it comes to living in the West, however, you bet your fucking ass I'd get a gun, and a big one at that. There is no bond between you and a fellow countryman there, so I sure as fuck wouldn't want to get gunned down by some random ass nigger who wants my 5 dollars because he needs to buy crack.
Now you're just talking about the US or some Latin-American country.

Reservist shooting is also a thing. Finland has a surprisingly high amount of guns per capita in the civilian use.
oh yeah, reservist shooting. remind me to sign up for those at some point. the firearms used there are not in 'civilian' ownership though, right? they are owned by the reservist club or whatever with permission from the government
also hunters have guns, we have a very active hunting culture
But lets get this straight, you're not ok with normal people having guns, but your ok with the police and government having guns because they are so trustworthy?
i trust my government, we're proven to be in the elite of non-corrupt countries. i feel your statement is subjective to where you live, but i digress. i'm okay with people who need guns for their profession having guns. in its current state, the only people in the society i live in (again, subjective) who have guns are the police, people with a license that need it for their shooting hobby (which SHOULD require lots of paperwork and proof that you actually are a hobbyist with a legitimate shooting club's membership), the finnish defence forces, and the very few criminals who have illegal firearms (the rate of which is incredibly low in finland as guns are not readily available to be sold as it is). the majority of our violent crime involving firearms involve licensed firearms belonging to either the shooter or their close friend/relative. i don't see any reason to further limit the availability of firearms for the population but i certainly don't see any reason to increase it either.

Jesus Christ is everyone here a mongrel in the literal meaning of the word, or what?
you're a rapebaby of our ancestors' rapebabies also i'm only very slightly russian and i'm quarter swedish-estonian which probably just means swedes who fled war to estonia and then moved to finland, quarter karelian-finnish and half finnish with a drop of german and estonian. geneology is fun. if i hadn't spent hours looking this up i'd think i was 100% snownigger.
Makes sense then.
Wait, are laws in Finland different than in Sweden? I know that in Sweden you can get some serious jail time for even carrying a knife, because Swedefags. lol
you can carry a pocket knife just fine, you're unlikely to get fined or have your knife confiscated if you carry a regular-sized knife, unless it's like serrated and obviously only meant to hurt people if you were to get into such a situation. however, you are likely to be told to either put it away if it's visible on the risk of having it confiscated.
Here we just have a massive amount of bureaucracy in front of everything and the corruption mainly lies with gypsies, mudslimes and somewhere higher up
it's worth mentioning that immense difficulty in obtaining firearms mostly applies to handguns as they are seen as having zero reason outside of harming people. however, getting guns in general got much harder as a result of the jokela and kauhajoki school massacres. before that, getting a gun in finland was relatively easy compared to most (western) countries. we still have one of the higher private weapon (pepper spray and tazers et al. were considered when making these statistics) ownership per capita rates in the world (29,09/100 people).
How cucked are you?
please stop using this word
Guns are a symbol of freedom and autonomy. You may not realise it, but even humans are government by the natural laws in which the strong have power over the weak. Guns are power, they are physical agency, when you give that up, in this case to the government, you are trusting them with your life and giving your freedom to them. Because now they're the ones with the guns, they can do whatever they want to you.
'no', a society where guns are needed by the people for other than hunting animals has a deeper rooted problems, and increasing weapon availability is not the way to cure it. firearms only exist to hurt, and in a utopia there is no need to hurt anyone (fuck off aurani). in a utopia there are also no violent people (thus also no need for people to seek asylum) who make people need to carry weapons in the first place. the cure is to get rid of violence (and mostly asylum seekers).
