Well, having a few forum kiddies shitposting in their own threads won't hurt really, and I don't see why anyone like that would stay here when they have access to a new flashy forum with their pewdiepie friends shitposts galore!
I suppose if some kid sticks around they'll get scarred for life by lewds anyway.

A thread in OT could work if it was explicitly stated that it's more of an alternative to those who don't like the new design instead of being directly against having the new design rolled out.
While I don't want this to be super exclusive and new members are more than welcome, I'd rather not have forum game kiddies running around here.
Well, thinking about it, the kiddies will be impressed by the flashy new design, but still, they can read! :p

I think we should at least let the people know there is an alternative right? Rather than it being super exclusive.
Sure, I just don't think making a thread is a good idea. It would either be subject to ridicule and/or deleted. Surely we could come up with other ways to let people know. Word of mouth works.
