You do realize it's summer in the civilized parts of the world?

What is your goal in life?

Lipunmyynti alkaa huomenna think2

Alright lets put some thoughts to words or some shit.

Removal of ITT
ITT is easily the most popular thread in the entire forum with over 17,000 replies and almost 500,000 views. At first it would sound like a really bad idea to remove such an active thread, but I think it would benefit the forum a lot. Removing ITT would potentially create new threads again. Sure, you will lose a place to talk about t- oh wait, there's an entire subforum for it! Remember, threads in Off-Topic doesn't need to be A+ quality. That means you can post about your Sunday meals in a new thread. For chit-chat, we have IRC but people never seem to realize that. Killing ITT will be a bit painful experience for some, but it's only for the best. This is the most essential change that needs to be done.

I understand what you're getting at, but I fail to see how that would actually help with activity. The reason people post in ITT is because it's the general chitchat thread, and they really don't have anything to say that would warrant a new thread. Removing ITT would only scatter the little discussion we have across multiple threads, and I don't think the general userbase here is is willing to deal with what is essentially just an unnecessary hassle with no actual improvements.

Stopping Necromancy Game
The second most popular thread in the forum is zini's awesome necromancy game. Over 9,000 replies and almost 250,000 views. It has come to the point where people just spam random letters like ccc and ssss ffffg aplll nonstop. Give some air to other forum games that are out there. The game has been running so long either way and I think it's time to announce the winner and title them as the biggest spammer of all time.

I fail to see how this would bring life to forum games, I think the main reason why the subforum is so dead is because we just generally don't play forum games. Instead of killing off the most popular (and the only "interactive" one), make new and interesting forum games instead.

Removing Lewd subforum
This doesn't affect activity at all, but might as well mention it. It's dead, pointless and waste of frontpage space. If someone really needs to post something lewd outside of the subforum, just spoiler and tag it as NSFW or something. Also removing Lewd will (hopefully) make us forget about Khelly's dick.

I explained it before, I think it's better to generally disallow (with very few exceptions) NSFW content on the forums in general, and have a place for it (that is hidden from users who aren't registered). Making a new usergroup for people that want to see lewd and not showing it to registered users by default is also a thing that isn't all that big of a hassle, but I'd want to hear other opinions on this before doing anything.

Combine G&R with Other Media
I found myself saying this last year and it still seems like a good idea. Combine two inactive subforums into one as not many people here play osu! either way. If the activity increases from osu!players, we could just try making a subforum for the subforum.

This I agree with, we could just have a general osu! and beatmapping threads on the other media subforum.

Removing Art subforum
Also move the most active threads (Game Art and Brian's personal picture dump) in GD. The subforum barely has any activity going on and it's a good enough reason to do a change.

Well, it basically is just "the art thread" and some other stuff nobody looks at, so moving those threads to other media makes sense.

As for the combining of General Discussion and Off-Topic, this also makes sense to me, but are we going to call the remaining one GD or OT?
