The pacing in the books is much faster if you don't like TV. If you are that desperate you can also just read the plot synopsis of the first and second book, and just jump to the third book(A Storm of Swords), which is the best book.

Or you can read the IMDB episode ratings for each episode and watch the episodes with a rating above 9.4. Fill in the rest of the plot by reading the episode synopsis in Wikipedia because that's what I do:

He's not hurting anyone by posting it here.  It's not like this forum is 'brimming' with so much activity that we would need to separate every single topic.  People are more accustomed to posting on this thread because when it came to the original one in Osu! this thread was sort of separate from the rest of OT with it's underage kids and constant shitposting.  This thread was the only thread a lot of us liked posting in because the posters in it were the only people we actually liked conversing with.

I don't read many books, but whenever I find one that piques my interest I will get through it in no time at all.
So two days ago I started reading 1Q84 by Murakami and I'm currently at the start of the third book and oh my is it interesting.

Murakami has been on my list  ever since I read one of his short novels a year ago and found that I could barely avert my eyes from it. I think the collection of novels was called women without men or something of the like.

I'm really excited that 1Q84 has reminded me of how good books can make such an impact. After I'm through with it I'll most likely delve into some of his  other works before trying to pull myself through The wheel of time which has been neatly waiting on the bookshelf for quite some time.

We need more talk about the things we like, not about the things we don't like!

Tupsu, there's a good reason we flee from the abhorent site known as osu! OT. I do not wish for you to go there. Though, it is more light-hearted I suppose. Stuff gets more personal here, which can get heated at times, but that's also because it isn't as active, making everyones posts feel more direct. Problem I mostly have with current osu! OT though is that it's filled with absolute garbage threads 99% of the time. I'd rather quickly shift through some crappy posts here than having to shift through countless threads that are all unfunny one-liners which are mostly inside jokes as well.

To stay a bit on topic though, I myself bought Fable Anniversary on steam sale. 85% off, so why not. Hoping to relive some nostalgic moments. I also bought an xbox controller + receiver for the PC. Mouse & keyboard feel clunky at times with certain games, so hopefully a more casual approach will make it all more fun.
