You aren't too white for anything. You're part of the master race, you can do anything.

Re: What's cooking good looking?

Cba to take a pic on my potato.

Me and my roommate made a massive stew out of pork, sweet potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, onions and garlic. As a broth we used a certain spicemix + water + dark lager.
It was sitting in the oven (inside an iron pot) for 8 hours, equipped with plenty of broth to make sure it comes out nicely.
Just had a taste this morning (it was cooking overnight) and goddamn that's some nice stew that'll probably last for 3-4 days

Well tbh it's nothing fancy, but a nice salt, black & peruvian pepper rub on the pork and the rest was seasoned with black, white & peruvian pepper, salt, cardemum, cumin, basil and coriander.

I wanted to use some more herbs, but our collection of spices is a tad lacking atm

MMmhh, thanks! For how long and what temperature did you cook it? (Ive literally no experience with slowcooking stuff usig the oven. Always been told to never leave the oven on...)

Id like to try it out myself sometime, that sounds preddy gud. Gotta experiment with sweet potatoes too.

This was my first time long cooking stuff like this too.
We used an iron pot for this case. Set the oven to 200c first, let it sit there for ~2hours, add some water + beer, 1 hour like that and then 5 hours @ 125c.
This yielded a good result, still have to experiment a bit with the possible temperatures 'nd stuff to get a better result. But this is a pretty good base to change the recipe for further cookings
