What's this? Looks like (force?)meat with beans and tomato.

it's called minced meat in english
but yes it's our shitty lazy version of chili con carne which is pretty much those components

chili con carne

So, that's how they call it, ffs, been wondering for around a year. I always confused it with gazpacho because that's pretty much the only Spanish dish name I know and it's also red, but after tasting it I knew it's something completely different (quite awful, tbh). Now I know what's next on my to-cook list.

Good choice. Chilli con Carne is absolutely delish and relatively easy to make. Be warned thoug, its a very flavorful dish so if ur used to... err mild foods it may be a bit overwhelming.

we use pre-mixed spice and we only use half of the damn spice on one dish
it also lasts fucking forever and is super filling I'd say it's a decent student food, just have it with chips one day and rice the other

Spicy food > any other type of food. Call me a masochist but I just love this sensation of my cheeks and tongue burning and my head spinning.

Shit happens, mate.

But, yeah, chili peppers is the best thing Latin and Central Americas ever gave us.

Green onions, add some green beans and/or pork/cow, garlic is also a great fit, water chestnuts and mebby some cream + chili paste to make it more foody

Re: What's cooking good looking?

I made real carbonara
fittan, apparently real carbonara should have unsmoked ham, either pancetta or guanciale (I just threw some random ham my mum brought in there though)
mine looks worse tho my mum put in way too much pasta and I thinned the sauce down a bit too much, so it all disappears
