good game 11/10
Weird, I've already spent 20+ hours and I haven't crashed or encountered a bug once. The worst I experienced was extreme framerate issues during the start, on the time of launch, but my framerate hasn't dropped since then.

Judging by the steam forums and such its a fairly common issue with jewvidia 700 series graphics cards. Setting the lighting to low apparently helps with some people but it only let me get to the next bonfire before it crashed again and I haven't played since.

DS3 is definitely harder than DS1, maybe even Demon Souls; even the NPC invaders wreck your face in.
Also, it's really cool seeing the similarities it has to DS1 since they take place on the same location.
The rotating tower of Anor Londo and what used to be the entrance to the Gwyndolin boss fight from DS1 and the exact location of the Gwyndolin boss fight, and the Giant blacksmith is dead. :(

I think she's the daughter of Oceiros since during that boss fight he's always going about his baby being born of dragons or something, and since she's the leader of the Darkmoon covenant, I don't think that idea of her being Oceiros' daughter is that far-fetched considering she must be a really important figure in Irythill/Anor Londo/Lothric to be a leader of that covenant. Probably exiled and secluded from Lothric the same way Priscilla was due to being partly dragon. Oceiros never really talks about his sons, Lothric or Lorian and they clearly don't display any qualities of being part dragon so he probably rejects their existence since Lothric is a weak-bodied motherfucker and Lorian is some disabled dude, and maybe she was taken away from him when she was a baby and that's why he's so obsessed on the imaginary baby that he's holding.
Another interesting tidbit of information is that Aldritch ate Smough. At least that is what I personally speculate since the description for Smough's hammer states that he was the last knight to guard the Cathedral and in one of Pontiff Sulyvahn's item/weapon description, it states that he left a God from the age of Lords inside the abandoned cathedral for Aldritch to devour; then once you beat Aldritch, Smough's armor set becomes available to buy from the handmaiden. How Smough is alive after the events of Dark Souls 1, I'm not sure but item descriptions in both DS1 and DS2 always state that time and reality in Lordran and Lothric is distorted. Kinda like how there is a description in DS3 that says that Ornstein went on a journey to find Gwyn's first born and bring him back; you find him dead and his set in Archdragon Peak yet how could that have been possible if you killed him in 1 .-.
Other beings Aldritch may have devoured also include Gwyndolin and Nito.
You should also look up how to get to Archdragon peak before you fight the last boss aswell; it's like a secret optional area where you fight Gwyn's first born son, the God of war, it's considered the hardest boss in the game though so maybe leave it until endgame.
What's your guys favourite weapon so far? My one is the Old Wolf Curved sword you get for reaching rank 1 of the wolf covenant; Damage increases after you land consecutive hits and its weapon art is awesome.

I like the zweihander
Farron greatsword is also fun.

Isn't it pretty explicitly stated that Aldrich devoured Gwyndolin, as he was the last remaining god in Anor Londo?
