Re: Classic Mafia (MAFIA WINS)

Then again I don't think mafia gets info about their partner's roles until the first night, as they're generally only allowed to discuss with each other during the nights. Therefore this info would benefit mafia as well, not only the town.

Mafia don't get the partner's role at all, so it's up to the partner to tell it. At least that's how it was the prev game

It is precisely because of that. The first voter doesn't start a bandwagon, the second one does. (kinda)

Say that after I am the 4th vote. For now, I'm trying to make a mess in hopes of a slip up by somebody.

Fair enough, it's not a lot of pressure to just throw a random vote, but Shiringo hasn't talked pretty much at all, so it's still enough reason to at least try and get him to say some words.

Perhaps. It's just a hunch, but my intuition wasn't wrong before.

gn Tuuba, I'm not mafia btw.

Re: Classic Mafia (MAFIA WINS)

I'd vote abraker if I didn't feel like he would be a great loss to town if proven to be one.
Ehh..
Since I don't have better alternative, I'm just going to counter vote :v
vote: Granger

Re: Classic Mafia (MAFIA WINS)

Well my suspicion is on ksg. No one ever joins my bandwagons though it seems :c

My other guess would be on zertap or LunarStorm. Counter voting has never been an effective tactic, and Granger seems innocent so far. Same with abraker, having a bandwagon to start off with seems to be the norm. However he could just be jumping on it to draw suspicion away from himself. I assume the roles are given randomly so the mafia could theoretically be the same people in this game.

I am trying to get more words by doing a bandwagon. I WILL proceed to withdraw my vote as soon as I am satisfied with the reaction of the person I bandwagoned.

Lol, reminded me of the odds of this (potential Undertale spoiler)

Re: Classic Mafia (MAFIA WINS)

So i dont really have anything to add yet, but still... So far I find Abraker and LunarStorm the most suspictious.
Abraker for the not really justified bandwagon, altough that still could be random voting....
And LunarStorm plain for abyssmal activity and then just appearing once that is pointed out.

Zertap could you ellaborate on "I didn't feel like he would be a great loss to town if proven to be one."?
Is it because his contributions in the last game?

Granger wrote:

I think I justified it enough, but here we go again. I put a vote on a person and stick to it until the person gets enough words milked. Then I move on the next victim. I don't want to lynch anybody; that would be the doing of the 4th voter and that is the thing that should make the victim should worry about. Nobody wants to be that 4th voter, so it's an unlikely insta-lynch, but it's enough to let the person get nervous especially since it's still the beginning of the game.

I will start to take a more conservative approach once we get more info. There is nothing more I can add to my reasoning.

That said, I am all ears on any suggestions of different tactics. What should I try? Do nothing? Act as a double vote for somebody? Taunt someone so they would snap?

Re: Classic Mafia (MAFIA WINS)

abraker has justified his actions well enough for me to believe him for the moment.

Regarding Granger's suspicions, since I was waiting for abraker to give a valid reason for his actions I've seen little to no reason in posting. Now that abraker is off the hook my plan is to put someone else in the spot once I think they've done something that I believe deserve questioning.
