I was supposed to play Ultra with somebody but its difficult af to make time for people who are just 2 hours earlier than you

not to mention my brother bugging me just to play LoL

oh and my crappy mobile browser says that the SSL doesnt match with the name of the website

Firewatch was such a massive letdown of a game for me..... they fucking nail the scenery, characters feel like actual fucking human beings and the suspense they built up was beyond amazing, and then they take a giant dump on everything. They didn't even expand upon the features they added in the bloody game...

i liked how the phonecall delilah recieved and was supposed to be the plot was never explained at all

there's no plot in this game because nothing gets explained, its literally "nice forest you have there, wow some weird stuff happens but get fixed on their own, ok time to go cya all was fun"

the art and atmosphere of loneliess in the forest was cool, the story was total shit what's wrong with the reviewers calling it a masterpiece because of the story

also 20€ for 2 hours and no replay value because your choices don't matter, i feel sad for the people who bought the game

now i'm waiting for no man's sky, hopefully it will not be a disapointement

I get what they were trying to get at with the whole "oh shit someone is following me" in the midst of a vast, lonely forest, where everything could just be the result of your own deranged mind, but it's as you said - the shit never gets explained properly.

The romance subplot never gets explained, nor does the call Delilah received, nor ANYTHING plot-related for that matter. I would've loved to see what the fuck Ned's true intentions were, beyond all that "I was so alone so I had to wank to you guys", or a bit more story behind Henry past the shit they shove at the start to "immerse" you. Seriously, they screwed up so badly presenting Henry's backstory that I felt like he just should've ditched Julia and went for Delilah, and when a player feels like THAT, you know they failed utterly to immerse you.

The ONLY fucking things they did good was the ambient and the dialogue. I could sing the game's praises for that, but it fails to deliver on the storyline so spectacularly, that I just feel like grabbing the head of whoever was responsible for this mess and rubbing it on the monitor like an owner rubs his cat's head in piss when it misbehaves.
