Just make golden apples be crafted with golden nuggets and not bars. Otherwise it'll take like 1 hour of mining to recover the health lost from getting hit by a skeleton once.

That puts it at 0.44 gold per heart. No.

Id suggest 4 gold bars for 2.3 gold per heart.

Personally I think revivals should be based on enemy drops or lottery based player sacrifices.
Maybe have the Nether Star be a full team revival.
That or 3 player revival.

It would be interesting to see something like this in Don't Starve Together except with sanity rather than health.
Sanity was an interesting mechanic in that game.

Given that the night time drains sanity i dont think that'd be so great to deal with. Then again, the shadow monsters aint that hard to deal with so just stay insane all the time...? Untill you need a rabbit for the prestihatinator.

Apples don't bleed.
It's not a sacrifice without blood.

Maybe if you gave the god apple to the player who will then jump in the sacrifice pit.
That could be a way to revive without a lottery.
