The thing is, SAO is technically well executed with good production values, but the source material itself was already shit and no amount of money thrown at it will ever fix it, while Dark Souls is a good game with a fairly shoddy pc port.

The other is shit no matter what you do to it, the other one can be fixed.

Well Dark Souls 1 was never hyped up to begin with and in my opinion Dark Souls 3 lives up to the hype as it's become one of my most favourite games alongside Dark Souls 1. New players might not think the same because the story isn't handed to you in a silver platter and they just want to get through the game using summons. I don't get that actually, why do new players want to speed through the game using summons? Are they expecting something from the story which is completely vague if you don't bother looking for it?

Some of the bosses are really goddamn annoying though, retard & cripple (you know which boss I mean) especially really rustled my jimmies when doing it alone.

Nah you just have to adapt and learn how to defeat them. For retard and cripple you just dodge to your right and take pot shots behind them, it deals damage to both of them and as long as mr.piggyback's below half health, you can kill him before dandynolegs revives. Also everything is pretty easily dodgable, use that one ring that increases your dodge invincibility frames; it's OP, both in PvP and PvE.

Now BigHatMcGee on the other hand... Nah he's actually pretty easy once you realise he can't do anything if you keep running around the place.

Not using ball camera is literally unplayable, gotta use that shit 90% of the time :p

Anyway trying my best to carry 1 moderately competent teammate and 1 who literally did nothing but hurt us, myself and my friends got placed at Prospect 2 in 3v3. Fuck, that's disappointing.
