Well if you're talking about 4chan, ironically that's the imageboard has all the 15 year olds because all the good anons left that cesspool of cancer and rulecuckery long ago. Basically this site is analogous to any of 4chans's offshoots, or voat to reddit; it has a more 'mature' community and more freedom

And consequently you get all of the 'radicals' (i.e. people with opinions that go against the mainstream opinions) pushed to the alternative sites.

The misc. boards are shit, but have you ever went to other boards? They got some great images, delicious sauce threads for software, videos, or hentai etc. /g/ & /h/ are my personal favorites.

r/4chan is also a good choice if you feel 4chan is too raw, and you want 4chan quarantined and refined.
