More fighting game updates. I should probably make a new thread dedicated to these, but meh.

Today I played against RoTTa who loved to switch characters every game (Terumi, Hazama, Bullet, Kokonoe, Taokaka, Noel and Litchi). Compared to Mukku, I feel like RoTTa enjoys playing a bit more passive and then punishes really hard once I do a mistake. Now, we did play the newest version and while Ragna didn't have a lot of changes, I should have checked the move list anyway. I was a bit paranoid regarding which of my moves still worked and this can be seen as me using Hell's Fang a bit too much when I had better options.

In the end, I managed to win 5 out of 7 games (we played 8, but first one ended on glorious blue screen) which might sound like a complete crush but almost all of them went to a third round - shit was really tight. REALLY. TIGHT. However, I feel like it's a bit harder to tell where I messed up and succeeded now.

Because today we had shit ton of variation, I decided to upload three games. First one is, I believe, RoTTa's main, Terumi. First time seeing this character but "Hazama without hooks" sounds pretty much accurate. I ended up losing this one and I think if there is something to improve, problems can be found from that video.

Second video is against Kokonoe who also completely new character to me and this time I had absolutely no idea what to expect. I spammed Hell's Fang like crazy during this game and I need to stop doing that shit. If I am standing still like a fool, it's most likely me trying to figure out what kind of moves Kokonoe has which turned out to be really annoying ones.

Third video is the only game today that didn't end up on third round. I already had general idea of what Noel does but I haven't spent much time taking a look at her attacks in detail. In this one you can see me trying to do the stepping you guys mentioned last time. I am not sure if this was what you were looking for, but I tried.

Things I have noted;
- In the first video I noticed that I jump too much. I remember Mukku (or Mianki, another Street Fighter player) telling me long time ago that jumping too much is pretty bad idea and gives opponent an easy opening. I wasn't thinking this would be the case in this type of fighters but I have to make sure that I am fully aware what is going to happen if I start bunnyhoppin'.
- Obviously, more work on the inputs. Back to training, aww yeah!
- I have to take a look at the move list again as I noticed new moves and tricks when playing. Will be helpful in the future.
- Announcer that doesn't sound bad? What the hell?
- I might have improved my blocking now. Might.

But I have to admit, I have started to see why people play fighting games in the first place. The satisfaction you get for making successful moves without button smashing is really strong. It's similar to Counter-Strike, it feels fucked up when spraying and prayin' and missin' but the satisfaction of having a good aim and headshottin' everyone is strong. Okay, that was pretty bad comparison but eh.

The questions are getting into my mind. Who will I be playing against next? What kind of characters will I face? When will I graduate from Fighting School? And most importantly, how decent am I right now? Only future tells.
