[Implemented] Quoting highlighted text

Ok so basically whenever you press quote you'll quote the whole text

Can we make it so that if you have a section of text highlighted, it'll quote that.

▼Example

Currently if I click quote it'll copy the whole text.

What I want is - if I have "I have no complaints about the 2nd" highlighted when I pressed quote, only that sentence would be quoted.

It's just pretty tiresome to delete a load of stuff if I only want to reply to a single part of a post at a time

But yeah, it'd be a nice idea. I remember the osu! forums had this capability.

I'll have to ask zini since he is the one who made the whole quote text on the post.php page functionality.

What I can say is that adding it on viewtopic.php would be a hassle and will likely not be implemented.

That's probably fine, because any in-depth post is probably gonna be written in the preview screen in the first place - besides, quoting somebody already takes you to the preview page.

No, since pressing the quote button already sends you to the preview page anyway.

Also that would be a chore.
