Real talk, I look good no matter what so I still look good with glasses. But I know for a fact that I'm statistically uglier with glasses on than without. How do I know?
First of all, I look at myself in the mirror A LOT so I'm very acquainted with my face from bone structure and everything. Me with glasses on, just not as good.Secondly, is the amount of compliments I get from friends/random people. How I've grown up, I get compliments about my looks constantly from girls/women of all ages younger to elder, even compliments from guys, no homo, about how good looking I am and how beautiful/handsome the features of my face are. With glasses on I barely get as much as I do without.
Lastly, is the amount of random girls that come up to me and flirt when I'm randomly walking about. Starting off in my teens, I would always get random girls I don't know just randomly come up to me and proceeding to give their names, numbers etc etc. and that has been a normal occurrence ever since it first started. Walking around in the main part of town during a busy hour, I would get at the very least, 5-6 girls flirting with me, an amount in which I wouldn't be able to remember either their names and faces. With glasses on however, that number is severely decreased to around 0-2, an amount in which I would actually be able to remember their names and faces, that's crazy. For me. that's a big shocker, especially when normally, I wouldn't be able to remember a single one of those girls. Granted, I'd rather have less girls flirting with me rather than a lot but knowing I look significantly less appealing with glasses on just doesn't sit right with me.

oh enet that's just like you.
I think it also depends on the frame. I'm about to get thicker, bigger frames in January! I also did my consultation with a doctor who specializes in lasik so maybe that might happen~

Doesn't lasik give you temporary blindness after the surgery? Well, not literally that, but your eyes just get really sensitive to light. I heard that side effect is a bitch. Besides, every time I read about the process of this operation I always feel squeamish. Laser cutting your cornea and all that.

It's more like extra blurry sight for a few days and light sensitivity from what I've heard. I remember when I was back in 8th grade, which was a long ass time ago, one of my friends got lasik and it didn't really improve their eyesight much. I mentioned it to the doctor and he said that the advancement in technology shouldn't really cause anything like that but I do have my doubts.

Well enet if you're that confident in yourself that's a good thing, but just remember that too much pride can be a bad thing :)

Hey, me too! Right now my glasses are rectangular, kinda like studious-looking or for reading. Am thinking of getting much thicker, sunglassy-style frames, to have a bit of a chilled, out demeanor instead of my high-tension raggledy looks. I've started to care about my appearance, yay!

Not any sort of real evidence, but I do recall hearing of people having to cover their eyes and not look at the sun for at least the rest of the day, if not the week.
This is all just antecdotal though and I'm no optician so take that as you will.

And btw anybody is interested on painted wheels? I got pink Dieci wheels from a random drop, I accept keys or crates, or equally sick wheels.

I just said that Granger has a decent manicure, is it that hard to understand?
