I never had many friends in general, but it's much better to be lonely and miserable than having to fake up some personality to "fit" their vibe or way of thinking or whatever. I heavily doubt I'll be in contact with any of my classmates except like 1 friend of mine who isn't even in the same class as I am. it's not like they're all 10000% retarded, they're just up to different things, and so am I.

if youre both lonely and miserable or the latter due to the former, you should honestly try to work on expanding your social circle. idk what you mean by them having a different vibe, but if you mean they're just normies then they're even easier to get along with, especially males. just learn to genuinely be nice to everyone at least until you get a good grasp of their honest personality, not the one they have when in a larger group; unless they're genuinely that shallow it'll shine through the facade of "pls accept me other normies" before too long.

I don't really feel that lonely and miserable anymore like I used to, and it's also not like I don't have friends at all either. I learned to "cope" with it better and also appreciate being by my own company, but it'd still be cool to have some genuine friendships that really work well like the one I have with that friend of mine. most of my friendships now aren't really on a "deep" level with strong bonding, but it isn't that bad either.
but yeah it's not really relevant anymore, since I'm soon graduating and I literally won't see any of them while @ army because of my position. I hope I'll meet people I can get along with a bit better there.
