thinned down with what?
also carbonara should be made with either spaghetti or tagliatelle because the sauce gets to cover individual strands of pasta and so the flavour of pasta does not get overpowering due to its thickness. with fusilli the creaminess of carbonara can kind of get unsaturated by the dense wheaty pasta

first time, I overfilled it a little but it was amazing and I could eat this salsa with a spoon
I'm eating most of it tomorrow you can give tips on what to do to improve

Cutting the tomatoes makes it easier to stuff it equally.
Furthermore you can step up the fillings game with all sort of things, for instance guacamole, cucumber and bell peppers. No rules apply so go with whatever fits your palate.

technically I didn't cook this but the thread is dead and I want to revive and also share my opinions
this is the Sushi In - Sushi in Tokyo boxed set, featuring:
- maki with salmon and cucumber
- maki with some sort of surimi, I think?
- nigiri with giant shrimp
- nigiri with salmon
19:27 <+tupsu> so all in all that was tolerable for 6 and a bit euro
19:28 <+tupsu> both types of maki were very nice, not sure what that was but one of them was almost sweet
19:28 <+tupsu> which was surprisingly nice
19:28 <+tupsu> the nigiri was.. not too great
19:29 <+tupsu> decently formed, which was nice compared to the fucking slabs I got at the nice place we went to
19:29 <+tupsu> and honestly the shrimp one tasted nice (<- nice here means more like decent - it definitely wasn't great but compared to the other one it was edible and tasted alright)
19:30 <+tupsu> but the salmon wasn't too good - it didn't taste like fish, in a bad way
tldr probably better off getting their Sushi in Hong Kong set since that one consists of only maki

Yay, revived threads! Figured I'd post my dinner to celebrate.
Pretty basic stuff; some assorted fried veggies seasoned to not taste awful, on top of them an omelette with leftover pasta and sauce mixed in, and for the "I eat healthy!" part there's some local fresh cucumber. They taste great this time of the year.

no pictures but here's a stock photo of kirju koer
and here's some cookies made with the exact same recipe but at home
you can ask depa and zertap if they were good but

recipes for disaster
this is tom yum instant noodles, boiled in very little water with most of the chili paste and only a bit of the other flavouring. three strips of bacon which got kinda leathery cause I don't know how to fry bacon, and then I put some soy sauce and some blue cheese in there
if you're smarter than me you have already noticed that all of these things are extremely salty, I felt like I was dying while eating it
but the cheese did make the small amount of liquid really nice and slightly creamy, so that may be a thing to explore (when I previously put in cheese it just got kinda gloopy and shit, but it has to be really soft cheese I guess)
